Day 110 – Spread a little love. Spread a little joy. Spread a little happiness.

Southern California is known for gorgeous sunsets. Last night at work, we had a scenic sunset that all the guests were talking about. I was able to snap a couple of pictures for you. Oh and last night, I went to sleep with Christmas music on. No more boob shrinking dreams from last night.

Good morning everyone. Here is the Friday edition of three things that make me happy.

1. As I stated above Southern California is known for it’s sunsets but I love taking pictures of the ones that are really striking and unique.

2. I got another book today in the mail, this time from my mother. I was so thrilled. “The Spiritual Guide to Attracting Prosperity” by Carolyn Boyes. When she saw this book, a feeling came over her and knew that I had to have this book. I love it.

3. Spreading a little love, spreading a little joy and spreading a little happiness.

Day 100 – Always keep the faith and you’re head up.

I’ve figured out my dilemma about my bamboo candles. First, I’ve decided to go with the smaller bamboo cup. I will be selling smaller candles. Right now, I’m working with the laser engraver and seeing how the logo appears being engraved onto the small candle. It’s a work in progress and a step in the right direction. In the words of Martha Stewart, “That’s a good thing,”

Three things that make me happy:

1. Watching the sunset from my job. Our hotel is on Ocean Ave with an unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean. Now that the weather has cooled and it’s a little clearer, the sunsets are just spectacular.

2. The last couple of nights I’ve pretty restless. I couldn’t sleep because of the candle business. The only thing that has worked is listening to oldies soft rock music. My grandmother Sarah used to listen to it when she couldn’t sleep. I do the same now.

3. Enjoying my day with co-workers. I have a really, great crew that I work with.
